How does the Event Wifi rental kits work?
Our Fusion-2 and Fusion-3 rental kits are built by WiFiT that combines diverse 5G and LTE-A/4G cellular networks from Verizon, T Mobile, and AT&T, all at the same time combining them into one solid WiFi connection. With our Bandwidth Bonding technology, you will have the speed of all the available carriers within a single WiFi connection along with extra reliability over different carriers in case hiccups on any cellular network.
Why should I rent?
WiFi networking equipment are notoriously expensive machines. Only a small number of business users have a need for these devices on a daily basis. Events tend to have WiFi internet needs for a short window of the year so it doesn’t make financial sense to own and have to maintain these devices from the IT perspective to be ready for the next event given the ongoing costs with sim cards, internet subscriptions, etc. These devices don’t come easy to set up for the average user either. We customize every event WiFi solution we offer to have our customers enjoy a REAL “plug and play” experience and not have to geek out trying to figure out unnecessary IT-related stuff when they have other more important business matters to focus on at their event.
What is the cost for renting event WiFi kits?
We offer 3 different solutions catering to different requirements. The cost for our 5G event WiFi kit solution rentals starts from $1,299 for 3 days.
What is the best Wi-Fi rental solution for my event?

Can I rent more than one device to support more users at my event without sacrificing speed?
Absolutely! Not only you can have more speed, but also you can cover a larger radius by deploying multiple event wifi rental units (Fusion-2
Fusion-3 or even Starlink units) at your event location!
What is included with my rental?
Every device you rent comes with all relevant accessories. This includes power wires/adapters, protective cases etc. In addition, orders being shipped out include prepaid return labels and repackaging supplies.
Are there any data caps on your service?
All of our event WiFi rental solutions including Fusion 2, Fusion 3 and Starlink come with unlimited data across all three cellular carriers and satellite providers. No matter your location or usage patterns, you will be covered!
What speeds are available for my event?
We can offer up to 10Gbps as a custom solution and up to 500Mbps downloads can be achieved via our Fusion rental kits. Achieved speeds are site-dependent and vary on numerous environmental factors like tower proximity and the location of installed equipment. We work with clients to optimize their service across all factors.
Do you offer FedEx shipping for the rental kits?
Yes! We exclusively work with FedEx for all of our deliveries. If you prefer a different shipping courier, please do let us know beforehand so we can make the necessary accommodations.
How long does it take to deliver my rental?
All of our orders are shipped from Los Angeles, CA and it typically takes between 1-3 days for them to be delivered via FedEx after being picked up by the carrier. Most rental orders placed before 1 PM PST can be shipped the same day.
Where do you ship to?
We ship our event WiFi internet solutions & Starlink units to anywhere in the United States. It can be shipped to your hotel, office, home or even you can pickup from the nearest FedEx Office. Please let us know your shipping preference while placing your order.
Can I have my unit delivered to a FedEx location for collection from the FedEx Store?
Yes! If you are not available for delivery, you can choose this option and pick up the unit from the nearest Fedex shop. Just add the delivery address you choose as the Fedex shop’s location and we will ship it there as per your choice.
How do I return my rental?
Every rental comes with prepaid return shipping labels. If you lose your return labels, just contact us and we will be able to email you a new one.
Can I take the kits on a plane with me to my event venue?
Sure! With our worry-free pelican cases, your units are safe either as a check-in or as a carry-on item to board on the plane with you.
How much does the Event WiFi Kits weigh?
Fusion-2 with its pelican case weighs 11 lb, Fusion-3 with its pelican case weighs 22 lb and Starlink with its pelican case weighs 15 lb.
What type of events are your WiFi Internet solutions suitable for?
We have catered to events of different sizes & venues such as indoor/outdoor festivals, concerts, sports events, corporate events, trade shows, conferences, conventions, live streaming events, experiential marketing events, film/tv/music sets, fashion shows, hackathons, product launches, tour buses, food & beverage POS systems, ticketing/registration desks, remote office locations. How long does it take to get setup with your temporary internet kits?
It takes less than 5 minutes to get up and running with our event rental kits! We offer a TRUE Plug and Play experience with the custom solutions we have developed by certified technicians to offer you a smooth experience.
Will I have time to test the WiFi unit before my event date?
Yes! Each rental unit will arrive 1 to 2 business days before your rental start day to give you ample time to do a test run before your event.

What are custom / onsite event WiFi solutions?

Do you offer on-site support?
All of our rental units including Fusion-2, Fusion-3, and Starlink have the capability for us to be able to troubleshoot just about any issue remotely 24/7. For any large-scale/custom events, we do have a certified network technician team available to be able to do on-site support. Please contact us for custom needs at your event!
Is it possible to choose a custom network name for my WiFi network during the event?
Yes. If you let us know in your order notes the custom network name and a password with minimum 8 characters, we will be more than happy to send your kit with pre-set network configuration with these details.
Can I setup a different wifi network for different groups of users at my event?
Yes. You can have up to 8 different networks setup to allow different user groups to login to different WiFi networks at your event.
Do I need to have a password for my WiFi network at the event?
It’s totally up to you. While we recommend a password to prevent unrelated people to connect to your network at the event, it is doable with an easy step which we can do for you remotely.
Is there any LAN ports for wired connection on the WiFi rental kits and Starlink unit?
Yes. All of our models have LAN port for connecting via Cat cables if you prefer to connect with a cable for certain devices.
Can I share my WiFi connection with another partner company at the event?
Yes! You are more than welcome to share the WiFi service with your partners or other companies at the event.
Will I be able to rate-limit the guest network and the data usage?
Yes – We can customize the speed and the data usage limits that you would like to limit the guest network users remotely. Just write a note on your order, give us a call or email us and we will be happy to do it for you!
What if our event venue already offers WiFi?
About 90% of our customers do their events that already have existing providers at their venue, however, in-house venue WiFi often is spotty and most of the time painfully slow. Venue Internet also tends to be 3-5x more expensive than our solutions. Our customers value their event internet experience therefore they choose WiFiT’s cost-effective and dedicated internet solution for their events to not have to depend on the venue’s offers and/or to augment the existing offer as a backup.
