Why Not Just Use the Charlotte Convention Center’s Own Internet?

At the Charlotte Convention Center, the in-house internet provider charges 4–5× more for a fraction of the bandwidth a booth actually needs — and it’s built for casual browsing, not for running your business. At most large venues, the in-house internet is:

4–5× the cost of dedicated booth internet, for less usable bandwidth

Shared across every booth and attendee on the floor at once

Priced per device or per megabit, with charges that add up fast for POS systems, lead-retrieval scanners, and demo laptops

Congested during peak exhibit hours and general sessions

Exhibitors who rely only on venue WiFi often spend show hours troubleshooting a dropped connection — and paying more for the privilege — instead of talking to buyers.

That’s exactly the gap a venue wifi alternative like WiFiT’s bonded 5G exhibitor internet fills — because our Fusion units run over bonded cellular rather than the building’s internal network, we don’t need anyone’s permission to bring connectivity into your booth, and you’re never sharing bandwidth with the booth next door.

What NFDA 2026 Exhibitors Use WiFiT For

Our team has delivered this same bonded 5G exhibitor internet setup at CES, Comic-Con, GDC, and large-scale trade shows and convention centers across the country.

FAQ

What internet packages are available for NFDA 2026 exhibitors?

WiFiT offers three fixed-price exhibitor internet packages for the 2026 NFDA International Convention & Expo: Fusion-2 (Up to 10 Devices) for small booths, Fusion-2 (Up to 40 Devices) for standard booths with more devices, and Fusion-3 Premium for large booths, live streaming, and up to 300 devices. See the pricing table above for full specs and pricing that covers the full 4-day show.

No. Exhibitors are free to bring their own internet to NFDA 2026 — that’s exactly what WiFiT’s bonded 5G packages are built for. Because our units connect over bonded cellular rather than the venue’s internal network, no venue permission or coordination is required to bring one into your booth. Under the Telecommunications Act of 1996, the FCC protects your right to use compliant wireless devices in convention centers, hotels, and other venues, so bringing your own connectivity is squarely within your rights as an exhibitor.

At a lot of convention centers, internet and AV service isn’t run by the venue itself — it’s outsourced to a single exclusive provider under a long-term contract, and that provider is usually the only one allowed to run cabling or wireless inside the building. Without a competing option on-site, pricing gets set well above what the same bandwidth would cost anywhere else, often billed per device rather than as a flat rate. That’s exactly the gap WiFiT fills as a venue wifi alternative: a flat, predictable rate for the full show with unlimited data and no per-device fees.

Each NFDA 2026 exhibitor package covers the full 4-day show — October 25–28, 2026 — at one flat price. No day-by-day math, no add-on fees for show days.

Fusion-2 (Up to 10 Devices) supports up to 10 simultaneous WiFi devices, Fusion-2 (Up to 40 Devices) supports up to 40, and Fusion-3 Premium supports up to 300 simultaneous devices — enough for large booths, demo stations, and staff networks combined.

Fusion-2 units cover roughly 60 feet, appropriate for 10×10 to 20×20 booths. Fusion-3 covers roughly 100 feet, suited to larger booths up to about 80×80. Both use WiFi 6 with MU-MIMO antennas to keep coverage focused on your booth rather than bleeding into your neighbors’.

No. Setup takes less than 5 minutes: plug the unit into standard booth power, and it automatically connects to bonded 5G carriers with your custom WiFi network live immediately. No technical expertise is required, and 24/7 support is available if you need it during setup, show hours, or strike.

Units ship via FedEx to arrive 1–2 business days before your rental window begins, pre-configured with your custom SSID and password. A prepaid return label is included with every shipment.

Every unit is monitored continuously through WiFiT’s cloud platform. Our team targets under 15 minutes for remote troubleshooting, and if a hardware issue can’t be resolved remotely, we provide a replacement unit from on-site spare inventory. 24/7 support is available by phone and email throughout the event.

Yes. The Fusion-2 (Up to 40 Devices) package has a $500 refundable deposit and Fusion-3 Premium has a $1,000 refundable deposit, both returned once your unit comes back in good condition. The Fusion-2 (Up to 10 Devices) package doesn’t require a deposit.

Units should be returned within 24 hours of the event’s conclusion. Late returns are billed at $299/day for Fusion-2 units and $499/day for Fusion-3, deducted from your security deposit where applicable.

Yes. Every unit ships with a custom SSID and password configured to your preference before it leaves our warehouse, secured with WPA2/WPA3 encryption. You can even run separate staff and guest networks from the same unit if needed.

No. Our units are configured to stay contained within your booth’s footprint, with remote channel and power adjustments available if needed to avoid interference with the venue’s own access points or nearby booths.

Every WiFiT unit bonds multiple carrier connections (AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon, depending on package) with automatic failover, and falls back to LTE if 5G is degraded. Fusion units also include an Ethernet WAN port if you’d like to add a wired backup on top of the bonded cellular connection.

Yes. Units can be powered on and tested during move-in and setup days, well before doors open to attendees, so you can confirm your POS system, demos, or streaming workflow are working ahead of time.

Yes — every NFDA 2026 exhibitor package includes unlimited data with no throttling and no per-device charges. The price you see in the table above is the full price for your 4-day rental covering the entire show.

Yes. In addition to exhibit hall booths, WiFiT supports off-site NFDA-related events, hotel ballrooms, and private receptions around Charlotte with the same bonded 5G equipment.
