Midtown and the Far West Side already run some of the most congested cellular grids in the country, and Javits adds tens of thousands of phones, tablets, POS terminals, and streaming booths into a building wrapped in reflective glass and steel — a shell that does the towers outside zero favors. Is the connection secure enough for processing payments or handling client data on the show floor?
